Liwa Plastics Industries Complex Inaugurated in Sohar

OQ has inaugurated the Liwa Plastics Industries Complex in Sohar, Oman. The complex will produce polyethylene, with an annual capacity of 880,000 tonnes, thus enhancing Oman’s position in the global petrochemical market. The new facility aims to boost Oman’s downstream industries and is expected to create significant job opportunities in the region. The complex represents a crucial part of OQ’s strategy to diversify its revenue streams and expand its petrochemical output.
